PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN GOOGLE SITES UNTUK MENDUKUNG PEMAHAMAN KONSEP BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS IV SD 105273 HELVETIA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use Google Sites-based learning media to improve students' understanding of the concept of learning science. Students feel bored with the learning methods implemented by teachers in conventional ways. By introducing Google Sites learning media, students can deepen their understanding of the concepts in the material taught by their teachers. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation and interviews involving 25 students in grade IV of SD 105273 Helvetia Medan. The results show that the use of Google Sites as a learning medium can improve students' understanding of the concept of science subjects and increase student learning motivation. In addition, this media also provides a new, more interesting and interactive learning experience for students, so they are easier to understand the science subjects. Teachers also feel helped by the features provided by Google Sites, making it easier for teachers to prepare materials and present information to be applied. This study concludes that technology-based media such as Google Sites can be an effective alternative in improving students' understanding of learning concepts in science subjects.
