PENGGUNAAN MODEL CARD SORT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 14 SIMBOLON PURBA

Abstract


The problem in this study is that the use of learning models in science learning is not maximal yet, especially on the subject of changes in the appearance of the earth and sky. The aim of the study was to find out the results of student learning improvement after using the card sort model on science subjects with the subject of changes in the appearance of the earth and sky in class IV SD Negeri 14 Simbolon Purba

               This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using a card sort model. This study was conducted at the Public Elementary School 040457 Berastagi TP. 2018/2019. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD 040457 Berastagi TP. 2018/2019 as many as 36 people. The object of the research was the card sort model in science lessons with the subject of changes in the appearance of the earth and sky in class IV SD 14 Simbolon Purba TP. 2019/2020. The data collection tool used by researchers is Observation andTests.
Teacher observation in the first cycle obtained a value of 59,7% or sufficient category. Teacher observation in cycle II gained 69,7% or good category. Observation on the activities of students in the first cycle obtained a value of 68,99 or sufficient category and in the second cycle obtained a value of 88,89 or good category. From the results of data analysis in the first cycle of learning outcomes obtained 26 students (72,22%) who had achieved mastery learning, 10 students (27,78%) had not achieved mastery learning, and an average value of 61,17. From the results of data analysis in the second cycle, 31 students (86,11) who had achieved mastery learning, 5 students (13.89%) had not achieved mastery learning, and an average score of 78,05

            The data conclusions of this study are the implementation of learning with a Card Sort model on science subjects in class IV SD 14 Simbolon Purba is categorized well and science learning outcomes are increasing
